Join experienced jeweller/goldsmith Lindsay Forbes, jeweller and founder of Laconic jewellery, as she guides you this introduction course working with wire and sheet in silver. Learn some basic sawing, forming, soldering, texturing and wire bending techniques to create three completely unique pairs of earrings.
You will learn how to solder by practising soldering first on copper. You will also learn some basic wire working techniques in copper. This then gives you the basic skills to go ahead and create 3 pairs of earrings in silver.
Perfect to give away as gifts for Christmas or for wearing to all your festive parties and gatherings as a treat for yourself!

Upon entering the venue there is hand sanitiser available for visitors. The craft room will have a door open for ventilation and numbers are limited to 6 people for each class. You are asked to wear a mask for participation in this class (if everyone feels comfortable to do so, these can be removed during), unless exempt, which can be removed to drink tea/coffee. The work area and tools will be sanitised before the start of each session, I kindly ask that you sanitise the tools after use too.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
