Course description
Traditional lampshade making course:

Learn the craft of traditional lampshade making with Cocoon Home. Our lampshade making course is run over two days (9.30am - 5pm), during which you will learn how to make a balloon lined bowed empire shade using traditional hand stitching techniques. Students are taught how to fit the fabric on the straight grain, allowing you to use any pattern you choose. Comprehensive notes and full instructions on how to tackle other types of frames are also covered so you can confidently tackle many other shapes.

If your hands are itching for needle and thread and space at home to create is limited, this lampshade making course is the ideal string to add to your bow.

Please get in touch via the contact form or phone number above for more details and to book.
