About the Course

A one day course at Blue Sky Mosaics begins at 9.30 am and finishes at 4.30 pm . Time is taken for students to choose a design of their choice and books and patterns are available or students are welcome to bring their own designs with them on the day. The studio at Blue Sky Mosaics is stocked with substrates - (bowls, tables, MDF blanks, vases), a large selection of stained glass, vintage crockery, glass beads and tiles. Tuition is provided in cutting glass and crockery (depending on student's preference) and all tools are provided. Class numbers are limited to 4 people to allow for individual tuition. The emphasis on our courses is to allow each student to create a piece that is personal to themselves and we encourage everyone to be ambitious (within reason) in their choice. There is a one hour break for lunch and on sunny days we eat alfresco.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

Unlimited teas/coffees and cold drinks provided throughout the day but please bring your own lunch. Materials are not included in the course price and are dependent on the choice of materials and size of project, between £20.00 and £30.00

I had the priviledge and pleasure of undertaking two seperate days of mosaic classes. Ann is very clear, concise, detailed, patient and wonderful company.
Set in a beautiful, peaceful location, the heart is inspired and the mind is refreshed.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this craft for any age and ability and beautiful creations are waiting to be made!

This class with Ann should come with a health warning ...beware it is addiction forming. Ann is one of the most patient teachers I know , gently guiding you through all the necessary techniques to create your own mini masterpiece . Looking back its several years since my daughter , sisters and I attended the first course and I have nothing but fond memories and still love Mosaics . I remember such good craic over the 2 day course that we came away feeling we had not only learned a new skill but made a new friend .
Ann's encouragement does not stop when you leave the premises either. Her ongoing mentorship and passion for mosaics has been a boon to me with all sorts of ongoing queries . I would recommend Blue sky Mosaics wholeheartedly to anyone looking to acquire a new addiction

I was greatly inspired by the course. I learned so much and have continued doing mosaics at home. Both our families were thrilled with their Christmas present of a new piece of artwork!
Ann is very knowledgeable, encouraging, helpful and friendly and William is always in the background lending technical support.
I can thoroughly recommend the courses.
