WHAT WE WILL BE DOING ON THE DAY:
During the online workshop I will show you the basic methods and techniques to get the best results while making melt and pour soaps. We will make three soaps together using the materials in the kits and I will finish the session by explaining what other household ingredients you can use in future soap making projects. Each person will have access to online soap making resources after the session also. We will make the following soaps during the session:
Honey and Lavender – This soap has a beautiful decorative texture, the lavender oil is soothing and relaxing while the honey is naturally Antimicrobial.
Moisture boost soap – This soap is packed with natural moisturisers including shea butter, goats milk and skin soothing oats. It’s naturally coloured a soft pink using fine Australian clay powder
Clementine and Jasmine – This soap contains dried jasmine flowers and clementine oil to give it a wonderful, fresh scent and a natural orange colour. I call this a happy soap as jasmine and clementine fragrances are said to diminish anxiety and boost happiness.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
The kits will be sent out to you by post. Each kit contains:
Clear melt and pour soap base
Opaque melt and pour soap base with goats milk
3 soap moulds
Australian pink clay
Please tell me in the comments whether you would prefer the three 'Basic moulds' or the 'decorative moulds'.
We make this type of soap using a hob, so set up in your kitchen and please have these items ready to hand to use:
2 pans that can sit one within the other like a double boiler
A chopping board
A sharp knife for chopping soap base
A spoon to stir the soap as it’s melting
A set of scales (preferably electronic)

The course was great. Kat was very informative. I would definitely recommend it.
I attended this live zoom workshop yesterday. It really was a great way to spend an hour and a half! The instructions were very clear and the box of resources that had arrived previously was generous and well planned.
Kat was very patient and knowledgeable and very engaging with her workshop.
Would definitely recommend this course.
