About the Course
6 week Silversmithing evening course at Lincoln Castle.
Explore the fascinating craft of Silversmithing.
A great follow on from the one day silversmithing taster course, over 6 sessions you will learn the techniques to produce your own piece of jewellery from a range of metals. Students will explore basic jewellery making techniques, giving them the confidence to make their own jewellery. The more experienced student can expand and improve the techniques that they have gained from previous classes and beginners can get to grips with this skill with plenty of time to reflect on what they are learning.
This course is suitable for beginners and experienced students age 16 +. Please wear comfortable casual clothes. The course session is held once a week on Thursday evenings - see the website for specific dates.
The Heritage Skills Centre at Lincoln Castle has been offering hands on experience and training since 2013. See our website to browse the wide range of taster days, short courses and demonstrations in craft, conservation and traditional building skills.
