About the Course

Silversmithing afternoon course - six weeks - October to November 2017

A great follow on from the taster silversmithing course!

Over the course of 6 afternoon sessions you will learn the techniques to produce your own piece of jewellery from a range of metals. Students will explore basic jewellery making techniques, giving them the confidence to make their own jewellery.The more experienced student can expand and improve the techniques that they have gained from previous classes and beginners can get to grips with this skill with plenty of time to reflect on what they are learning.

This course is suitable for beginners and experienced students age 16 +. Please wear comfortable casual clothes. The course session is held once a week on Thursday afternoons - please click through for details of available dates.

What's included in the price?

The basic materials, copper and aluminium will be supplied. Silver and Gold can be purchased from the tutor. Refreshments are available.
