Half day introduction to working with silver to create your own unique jewellery - design and make your own silver rings. A fun day out for friends; the start of a new hobby; a taster of a new skill! In this fun half day beginners course, we cover the key skills to create your own solid silver ring. Learn how to plan out, measure and add pattern to your silver, then to shape and solder it to create a ring, finally refining and polishing your design. Choose from a range of design options and make either a set of stacking style rings, or a single ring with a beginners' stone setting, ready to wear home and show off! Maximum class size of 3 people at my dedicated workshop space here in Camden Town, London NW1 Course runs from 10am to 1pm.

What's included in the price?

During the day you will create at least one solid silver ring of your own design - possibly more, depending on your choice of style! The fee includes; - your tuition - 10am to 1pm, use of all relevant tools, solid silver wire or sheet, and any other consumables needed for your ring/s, tea, coffee and refreshments. Lunch is not included, but there are many local cafes.

I have been making jewellery since 1994, I have a teaching certificate for teaching adults, plus BA and MA certificates in Jewellery and have been teaching jewellery making at adult education centres & around London since 2009. I love sharing my skills, helping my students to make beautiful jewellery, and to develop and refine their skills and creativity.
