Silver jewellery making covers a range of techniques and processes using sterling silver, semi precious and precious stones. Students will learn techniques and apply these to three projects delivered over ten weeks. These include making a link bracelet with charm, ring and earrings.
Beginners will learn the basic skills of jewellery making including piercing, filing, drilling, texturing, annealing, forming, soldering and polishing. Intermediate and advanced learners will have the opportunity to work on individual projects, develop existing skills and learn new techniques.
What's included in the price?
All materials are included in the course fee. Tools and equipment are also provided, however you may need to supply sundries such as saw blades; you will be advised about this at the first session. Please bring a sketchbook to keep notes, designs etc. Please wear closed shoes for Health and Safety reasons.
