Have you ever wanted to create your own silver jewellery?
This full day workshop is the perfect opportunity to come and learn the basics of silversmithing.
The course aims to equip you with the skills, tools and materials to make a silver ring and transfer the use of this skill to create your very own sterling silver pendant.
We start the workshop with a description of the basic tools used to cut, form and detail silver. You will then be given the opportunity to practice your skills and once you feel comfortable, we will cut and prepare some pieces of silver, ready to build into your first design.
After a break for lunch we will carry on and learn a little more and then cut and prepare silver pieces ready to form into your second project.
This will be a step by step lesson, suitable for complete beginners with use of tools and materials for each student included in the course price.
Our workshops have been developed to provide a quiet day of creativity and gentle tuition and we hope the feeling of going home with a desire to learn more.
