Description
Spend the weekend creating your own jewellery collection! Day 1 - In the morning, we'll ease in to jewellery making with some practise copper pieces. You can then create your own silver ring. In the afternoon, you'll have the choice of a bangle or pendant. Day 2 - We'll build on what we learnt in day 2 and add in learning how to set stones. You can chose to make a ring or a pendant for this piece. Over the two days you'll learn lots of jewellery making skills - sawing, filing, texturing, soldering, polishing and bezel setting. There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions and for me to provide support. I will bring samples and templates to help you come up with ideas (great if you think you aren't creative!) All materials are included in the course fee. All tools are provided so you just need to arrive ready to make some beautiful jewellery. The class will rung from 10am - 5pm each day and we will take an hour for lunch. You are welcome to bring something with you and eat in the hall or pop out into Pocklington, there are supermarkets around the corner and some lovely cafes in town.

Maker
Tori has been making jewellery since her teens, starting with beads and mixed media pieces. After a short course in metal clay, she began working with silver and gemstones and this is where she now specialises. You can find her work on her website and in stores in York and Beverley. Tori has taught at London Jewellery School and at evening classes in Yorkshire and is now running her own sessions in Pocklington.
