Silver clay looks and feels like porcelain but when fired it is 99.99% pure silver.
Whether you are a beginner or you would like to elevate your silver clay jewellery, this workshop will teach you how to add gemstones to your designs before firing.
You will design a pendant, and possibly earrings, depending on your designs and complete the project from start to finish with tips for best results and any assistance required.
The workshop will take you through cutting, texturing, filing, pre-fire sanding, stone setting, firing, sanding, oxidising, polishing and finishing. You will add findings and a chain so that your jewellery is ready to wear when you take it away with you.
This is a full day course so you will need to bring lunch with you. Alternatively, workshop visitors get 10% discount at the on-site café where Santa creates delicious dishes with local produce.
Free on-site parking.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All materials and tools will be provided along with plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits. The course includes 10g of lump clay and access to the workshop silver paste pot as required.
