A fine art mixed media mosaic wall hanging, combined with a free-style painterly process using diluted acrylic on a slate round. Size - 10cm x 10cm Inspired through a vibrant waking dream - brave red buds emerging to meet with the golden morning. A flash at the window, as the sun birds bless the garden...

How this was made

Sensing a loose line design, moment by moment mosaic process begins to manifest as vibrant hues, tender tones, interesting patterns and textures... Lovingly created using magnetic colour tones and bold shapes in re-cycled/vintage china and opaque/iridised stained glass. Finished with a freestyle painterly process of contrasting colour flows and edged with gold leaf paste.
