A gentle introduction to the craft of crepe paper flowers, this morning class (10am - 1pm) will teach you the basics of working with crepe paper to create beautiful, realistic flowers.
You will learn how to cut and shape petals, craft simple leaves and build a beautiful blue flag iris using nothing but paper, glue and wire. The skills you will learn can be used to create many different kinds of flowers. The crepe paper flower revival has seen artists producing some amazing flowers and if you wish to take this craft further the sky really is the limit!
Your tutor is Arts Council England supported paper artist Ling Warlow. Ling has a special interest in UK wildflowers. Her work has been featured on ITV and is currently on display at the Design Museum, London.
