Mono Screen Printing Workshop

Description

Come and enjoy the art of screen printing. You will have a choice of printing your design on a tote bag or onto card to frame or you can bring along any item of clothing or cushion covers you'd like to redesign. You will learn how to design and cut images for the screen, the best way to print and fix the image and cleaning the screens for future use . We will only be working with black ink during this session and hopefully other colours in the near future. A bit about me: I just love working with all sorts crafts, designing DIY bespoke pieces for the home and I try to upcycle as much as possible to be kinder to our planet and produce beautiful handcrafted pieces. I studied Art and Design over 25 years ago at my local college, then became a member of the North Staffs Guilds of Craftsmen where I had the opportunity to display my work as well as give demonstrations. I am a fully qualified tutor and am keen to 'boost up' your creative skills in this most enjoyable craft.
