Botanical Beauty & Cold Process Soap Making
Description
Learn how to make a variety of cold process soaps & botanical beauty products using natural ingredients. Lots of hands-on activities, in a friendly fun environment with small class sizes. This course is quite intensive & there is a lot to take in but once you have done your first soap the rest will be easy. We will be using wild foraged seeds & weeds to create soaps with a purpose. Rachel will share her recipes (some palm free, some RS palm oil). You can expect to make 4 soaps on the day, but you will share your 'master batch' with the rest of the attendees so will end up with at least 16 different soaps to take home. Plus seasonally appropriate botanical beauty items which may include salt or sugar scrubs, deodorant, balms, body butters/creams. Your soaps will not be able to be used straight away and will need 3-4 weeks curing time before use. The longer you can leave them the better they become. Please note you will need to be able to stand for periods whilst making and have a good level of manual dexterity. Refreshments provided. Please bring your own lunch. Terms and conditions: Our workshops are open to individuals aged eighteen and upwards. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Any further details, along with anything you need to bring with you, will be sent out via email in advance of the scheduled date.
