Situated in the beautiful Cotswold market town of Lechlade-on-Thames, maker and creator Jennie Turner-Maskell invites you for a fun and fabulous day learning the art of mosaic making. This workshop is ideal for beginners and curious crafters; enjoy a relaxed and fun-filled workshop with step-by-step guidance, in a small group. Learn how to work with vintage china, mosaic tiles, glass and ceramic shapes to create a design on an MDF base. With a large selection of materials to choose from, you will have plenty of inspiration for your design. Choose from a variety of base shapes, including birds, butterflies, chickens, houses, hearts and more. The afternoon will be spent learning how to grout and finish your piece. The day starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm, please aim to arrive around 9.45am for a prompt start. Please bring a packed lunch and an apron; tea, coffee, cold drinks and biscuits are provided. Gluten free options always available. Suitable for ages 12+ - children 16 & under must be accompanied by a participating adult.
