Description

Learn to draw stunning, intricate mandalas using a few simple techniques in a private group. Perfect for friends, colleagues, hen parties or family groups.

Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available. If you don't see a date that suits you, please just let me know.

Mandalas are an ancient art form which spread across Asia some two thousand years ago. Mandala art is now recognised around the globe as a fabulous aid to meditation and relaxation.

During my class, you'll discover a wide range of design elements inspired by traditional Asian mandalas. By the end of the class, you'll have all the knowledge you need to continue drawing mandalas, making each one unique. And you'll have access to downloadable pdfs that form a library of symbols and design elements for ongoing inspiration.

Suitable for individuals, groups and corporate 'days out' even in lockdown.

What you'll learn:
- How to draw a mandala template.
- How to draw an Asian inspired mandala (it's a lot easier than it looks once you know a few simple techniques).
- Tips and tricks to make beautiful intricate designs (that are much easier to create than you'd imagine).
- A brief history of mandalas and how to use them as an aid to relaxation.

By the end of the class:
- You'll be able to draw stunning, intricate mandalas.
- You'll have access to downloadable pdfs that form a library of symbols and design elements.
- After the class, you may wish to colour your mandala using metallic pens, coloured pencils or paints.
- Join my private Facebook group for ongoing inspiration and tips.

Please check that your camera is working on Zoom before the class and that your compass can draw a circle without slipping. Any problems just send me a message.

Great workshop, Kathryn is a great teacher, giving us plenty of time to complete each section. She makes the sessions relaxing and fun. Shame there was only two of us, but so nice to have time to meet another lovely lady and her beautiful cat.

Response from Mandala Meadow:

Thank you, Liz! That really is appreciated. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it.

Response from Mandala Meadow:

Thank you, Jill. It was great to meet you all and I'm so pleased everyone enjoyed it. It was a fun afternoon. We all need a creative outlet, especially in these strange times and mandala drawing is very beneficaial for our mental health, particularly for relaxation - it's a great stress buster. And I find it so rewarding when people who say they can't draw are delighted with the results they achieve drawing a mandala.
