Lino Carving for Beginners with Georgia from deBuriart Workshops

In this 3 hour workshop you will learn all you need to make a lino print, no matter what artistic skill level you currently have! Taught by artist Georgia de Buriatte, at the beautiful Nutshell Arts Centre in Winchester.

The workshop will start will some basic mark making, to get you used to the feel of using the tools and lino surface. Don't worry if you aren't sure, there will be plenty of books and real life lino examples for inspiration, from Georgia's personal collection. Finally you will get the opportunity to carve and print an A6 lino block, in single, multi, and gradient colours.

What could make this workshop better? Well you not only get to keep your work, and lino blocks to reprint as many times as you like; but you also purchase lino tools during the session, so you can continue carving at home!

Perfect for printing cards, t-shirts, bags, general artwork, and much more. All materials including paper and cards will be supplied, but do feel free to bring anything you'd like to print on!
