Mandala hand lino print workshop

Description

I work from my studio in West Wales and create bold images from Lino. Come and spend three hours in a relaxed and intimate environment. Working with small groups of enthusiastic creatives and design, cut and print your own lovely mandala hand. Lino printing is a relief printing method where you carve away your image from super soft lino sheets. Ink is then rolled over the plate and the lino that remains with generate a positive inked area that can then be transferred into a smooth surface. All inks in this workshop are water based. It’s a really therapeutic and fun session and I’m sure you will be hooked! All materials will be provided along with refreshments. Morning session from 1000 -1300 Afternoon session from 1400-1700 Max of 4 people per session. Book a group of 4 friends, team building session, hen and stag sessions, or just come on your own...... but better with a buddy.

I work from my little studio in West Wales but very often have to spread out into the kitchen space. I work predominantly in Lino and have created a range of lovely merchandise with these designs. The possibilities are endless. The Lino I use is soft and very easy to carve away any design, no matter how intricate and the tools I use are perfect for the job. I love to set up all of my goods at local markets, summer fetes and Christmas Fayres.
