Lino print workshop: cards, framed print and mug.

Description

In this workshop you will design, cut and print your own lino design. The print will lead to you creating wonderful things. A set of hand printed greeting cards: these could be geared towards a specific event or date. A framed print in beautiful wooden frame. And finally a mug with your very own work adorning the sides. This can be enamel (for all your out door adventures, camping, beach, picnics, etc), or a more delicate bone china mug. Workshop will be limited to four people to ensure focussed tuition. You will learn the basics of lino printing as well as being able to mount and frame your work. Small groups in an intimate and friendly environment. Dates are flexible. Contact me to arrange.

I will provide everything you need. All you need to bring is your ideas. All materials and tools provided. Light refreshments to keep you fuelled up and energised.

I work from my little studio in West Wales but very often have to spread out into the kitchen space. I work predominantly in Lino and have created a range of lovely merchandise with these designs. The possibilities are endless. The Lino I use is soft and very easy to carve away any design, no matter how intricate and the tools I use are perfect for the job. I love to set up all of my goods at local markets, summer fetes and Christmas Fayres.
