Learn to sew - zipped and lined bags - Worcestershire

This workshop would be great for you, if you would like to progress your sewing skills and learn how to sew a zip. Ideally you will have a little experience, or have attended my 'Get to know your sewing machine' workshop, but if you can wind a bobbin, thread your machine and sew a few straight stitches, then that is sufficient! I will be showing you how to use a 'zip foot' and how to attach the zip nice and straight in the top of your bag. The bag will also be lined, so no raw edges will be visible inside or outside. I have taught a lot of people who have come to the workshop worried, or have had a bad experience with zips in the past. We take it step by step until you fully understand the principle, and overcome any anxiety. It really isn't that scary!! The bags themselves are really cute, and could be used for such a variety of things.
