About the Course

Three week upholstery course at Lincoln Castle.

A great introduction to the skill of traditional upholstery.

This course while perfect for beginners also aims to provide those with more experience the opportunity to improve their skills. On this course you'll create a new seat for your own drop in and pin cushion chair/stool. You'll learn all the basic techniques of traditional upholstery and complete two pieces during the evening sessions. This is a great first step into this craft and excellent for those who are not able to attend a full weekend course, or want to have a go at some of the basics first.

The course will run in the evenings.

This course is suitable for beginners and experienced students age 16 +.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

Please bring your own chair or stool with a 'drop in' and pin cushion from home to work on. All tools and materials are provided apart from your own choice of top fabric and gimp braid.
