I drove for 3 hours and stayed at a B&B the night before to attend this taster session and it was absolutely worth it! Sally was an excellent host with a wealth of knowledge and I really appreciated her teaching style of gentle guidance rather than a prescriptive approach. I felt very welcome in a group of people I had never met before and left with pieces of work I felt proud of. I will definitely do this again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to try out different crafts.

Really enjoyed this mosaic day. Sally made it a very informative and relaxing day with a small group of us. She gave individual support and advice as needed but allowed us to be as creative as we wanted. We had lots of different materials to use and everyone completed at least one item to take home.
Sally has a good sense of humour and created a very interesting workshop.
Good to be able to help ourselves to tea ( as well as biscuits!!) as we needed.
Definitely recommend mosaic workshop and just signed up for felting .

Response from Craft Workshops:Thank you for your review Susan - it was lovely to meet you and I am looking forward to catching up with you again over some felting (and tea and biccies!).
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our mosaic workshop with Sally. It was our first attempts at mosaic and Sally was very patient and encouraging throughout the day. All the tools and materials required were supplied on the day. There was a lovely small friendly group of ladies of all abilities and Sally was able to give us all a little help and advise where necessary. Would highly recommend this course with Sally to anyone who is interested in starting out in mosaics or who would just like to have an enjoyable day out doing something different.

Had a lovely day creating the mosaics with Sally, her teaching style makes you feel that you can do anything. With her help and some input from the other lovely participants I made two mosaics that I was proud of. Plenty of drinks and biscuits to keep us going and we even got a chocolate snowman each! Thank you.

This was a really enjoyable course. Sally is a talented and excellent teacher, and very patient and helpful, who also encourages you to use your own ideas, and supports you with these. The day went too quickly, and lots of ground was covered, I think Sally quickly picks up your level and works with you. She has a range of materials and tools and everything you need is provided. I thought the course was excellent value, and in a good venue. I cannot recommend the beginners mosaics course enough really. I will definitely go on another. I am now looking at a photography one, and the lino cutting looks appealing too. It was a very enjoyable way to spend a day creating in a very relaxed atmosphere. I came away with something I had made, and a clear inspiration for what I may do next, when I gain a few more skills. Excellent!!
