About the Course

This is an introduction to glassblowing in a hot glass studio based in Mill Hill.
sessions are 3 hours long and you will get to grips with some of the basic methods of glass blowing. I will talk you through what we will be making, and I will demonstrate before getting you onto the bench and getting your hands on the craft itself. The idea is to get you making things as quickly as possible, experimenting with colour, manipulating the glass to make things from flowers to vases. whatever you make you get to take home once its annealed. this ession is shared with one other pupil. This makes a great present for someone, or a fantastic experience for yourself.
suitable for Ages 16 and over.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

Before even arriving, the communication was fantastic. I'd picked up a contact number and started engaging to arrange a fun activity for my husband's birthday. Jason was flexible, enthusiastic and incredibly professional.

The class was just myself, my husband and Jason, the studio was small but perfect for our intimate introductory class. Jason laid out the health & safety t's n c's and we got right to the structure of the class.
We couldn't believe how quickly you had to move when the glass came out of the furnace, or the sheer heat the glass radiated! We made flowers, glasses and bird paperweights... one looks like a dolphin on steroids, and the other, a deformed fish haha!

It was so much fun, and I'd like to come and do it again soon. This would be perfect for team building exercises, intimate glass blowing classes, or just a fun day out. Jason is a fantastic guide and teacher and great company with heaps of energy!

Thanks again
