Description
Full day glassblowing class for up to 6 people in a working glass studio. With two tutors, you're assured of individual teaching and support. You will learn the basics of gathering hot glass from the furnace and shaping it with traditional glassmaking tools. Then you go on to blowing glass and applying colour. People usually make two or three pieces, including colourful vases or bowls. This is a really hands-on experience! The class is suitable for complete beginners and can also build on skills from shorter courses. The glass studio is easy to reach from London and the Midlands. Minimum age: 18
What's included in the price?
We provide lots of water to drink during the class. All tools, safety equipment and materials are provided. There is a charge of £20 per person, payable in advance, for grinding, preparing and posting your glass.
