Spent a great evening on the hot process soap course. I had no previous knowledge of soap making but Keri explained everything very well so that not only did I come away with loads of great smelling soap, but I also feel confident enough to try it again at home. Can't wait to get using my soap!!
Spent a lovely Sunday morning learning about soap making with Keri in her studio. Everything was explained beautifully and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. The soap we made is currently curing and my whole house smells of the beautiful essential oils we used (we came away with a lot of soap!). I would definitely recommend it. Give it a go!
Response from The Soap Coach:Thank you for your lovely review Kristy, I am so pleased you enjoyed it - countdown to using the soap Dday :)
I had a fantastic afternoon soapmaking, great be able to do it in a group. Our host/instructor Keri was fab making it easy to pick up, relaxed and fun. I love soap I came away having made. Location was great, easy to find, plenty of parking, and a lovely view. Thoroughly recommend it.😄😄😄
Response from The Soap Coach:Thank you so much Tara - it was a great group. Lots of enthusiasm and fun, the soaps all looked fab :)
What a lovely way to spend an afternoon, Keri is very welcoming and helpful and knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed learning all I did, I had no knowledge at all of the process but feel with the hands on step by step learning and workshop resource notes I went home with along with the private access to an ongoing support group for questions etc that I will enjoy many hours producing some beautiful soaps and one day hopefully add them as an addition to my business. Can’t wait to cut the first slice from the soap we made and took home.
Response from The Soap Coach:Thank you to you both for booking in with me Rachel - and best of luck to Emily in her soap making plans. Always here if she needs any help, Keri
Didn't really know what to expect but it was great fun.
A fair bit of science to it but presented in an interesting and at an accessible level. Premises are ideal for this course and safety is first when using the equipment and materials.
Some strange coloured mixtures produced by the students but some wonderful looking (and aromatic) soaps were taken home.
A learning experience for me with a very knowledgeable teacher. I really enjoyed it.
Response from The Soap Coach:Thank you Vernon, really glad you enjoyed it, And soap beauty is in the eye of the beholder ! I thought they all looked great :)
What a brilliant course, so enjoyable, interesting and really laid back vibe.
Keri was an excellent coach, very friendly , helpful, organised and knowledgeable.
Keri is clearly very experienced in soap making and had great fragrance tips too. The workshop is in a lovely location too and easy to access/park.
Making the soap was great fun- it was so rewarding to mix the components and create and fragrance/colour/ decorate the soap to your exact preference.
It’s a unique experience and I have been recommending it to friends and family.
Response from The Soap Coach:So pleased to hear you enjoyed it Elaine - and thank you for helping me spread the soap making word :)
I went to Keri’s studio as part of a group activity but was a little dubious being one of only a few men in the group of ‘trainee soap makers’. I needn’t have worried, Keri gave us all a warm welcome and was a fantastic host throughout. Clear in her instructions she explained the science behind mixing ingredients and balancing scents, making it interesting and enjoyable. When it comes to making the soap there’s countless options to make a more masculine batch so come on chaps book it up and have a go!! Great value for money when you consider the knowledge and soap you take away, great fun!!
Response from The Soap Coach:Thank you so much Stuart. Really pleased you enjoyed it - plenty of options for male soap makers without a doubt :)
Keri is a great ‘soap coach’ she is very friendly and helpful, her instructions are clear and easy to understand, the afternoon is great fun and at the end you have some lovely soap. I can totally recommend this course.

Keri is a natural teacher, passionate about all things soap!
The cold method of soap making, was an informative and hands on, fun workshop.
Three hours, which passed all too quickly, of the joy of making a luxurious product for people or dogs/horses!
Wonderful scent of pure aromatherapy oils added to the pleasure of creating two ‘loaves’ of soap.
The studio is roomy and bright with everything needed close to hand.
A marvellously relaxing morning, enhanced by tea/coffee and cake!
Now I just need to book for the hot soap making method!
A very affordable price for a 5 star experience.
Totally recommend..... thank you Keri
