Description
Step out of the tube station into glassblowing with a friend! This session is a private class for two people (ie £150 per person.) In this 1:2 lesson we will cover basic health and safety then you can immerse yourself in the process of making, using traditional tools and your own breath to shape molten glass. For each piece you will both select your own colours to make glass which will be yours to keep and treasure. You will be introduced to techniques such as: – Gathering molten glass from a furnace, – Shaping and working the glass using a variety of tools, – Working with glass colours, – Blowing glass. All materials and safety equipment. Lessons are held in my studio with bifold doors open to keep you comfortable while blowing glass with a view over the park. Please be aware that your glass will have to be annealed overnight and have to be picked up or posted out to you at a later date. Currently available for over 18s only.
What's included in the price?
All materials and safety equipment. You can either collect your glass after the lesson or it can be posted out to you for £20.00 per box.
