This workshop is perfect for anyone who likes to send their Christmas cards out early with a personal touch. Of course you can do non-festive prints if you like as well. In this session you will learn how to cut lino perfectly with a variety of techniques and how to print it like a pro. There will be lots of images to inspire and work from. If there's a specific image you'd like to work from bring it along. There will be a variety of different coloured inks and cards, tags and paper to print on too.
Come with ideas of imagery you'd like to print!
The workshop will run from 7-9 but will be open from 6:30 if you'd like to come for your tea beforehand. I highly recommend it! Peppercorn's food is delicious with a great range of main meals and delicious cakes.
Peppercorn is a fantastic vegan cafe located at 53 Trinity Street, Huddersfield, HD1 4DN. It's in a great location with lots of free street parking nearby alongside Greenhead Park. It's about a 15 minute walk from the centre of town and less than a 10 min walk from the nearby train and bus stations. There is also a bus stop on the opposite side of the road.
The cafe is up a few sets of steps so is not wheelchair accessible.
There's lots of free street parking nearby however I would recommend arriving a bit earlier as sometimes the parking immediately nearby is scarce. The train and bus station are also very nearby.
The workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this the workshop will be cancelled. Your booking is secured by payment and if you choose to cancel you get a refund up to 7 days before the event however after that no refund can be given.
There will be hand sanitiser available, social distancing in place and spaces will be limited. While masks are not mandatory, wearing them while moving around the space would be encouraged. If you feel unwell, have symptoms of covid or have been in contact with anyone who has please let me know so you can be moved onto a future session. If we go into another lockdown this workshop will be postponed until a safe date.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
