Description

Enjoy learning how to add a pop of colour to copper and silver to make a selection of earrings and pendants. This is a great beginners introduction to enamelling jewellery but is also open to those with some experience. The following techniques will be covered: - Making and forming shapes - Texturing - Filing and sanding - Applying powdered enamel - Firing enamel colours Bespoke course dates are also available for 1:1, 1:2 or group bookings at Beccy's home studio in Olney, your own club venue or home. Suitable for hen parties, special events, birthday celebrations and everything in between.

Copper and enamels are included in the course fee silver can be purchased on the day.

I was interested in making and designing from a very early age and developed my first jewellery range in 2000. I then discovered my love for teaching in 2004 and have been developing my courses ever since. I have a home teaching studio for 1:1 & 1:2 sessions and in 2017 I set up a teaching studio at Yardley Arts where I can teach up to 11 learners. Qualifications: BA in Designed Metalwork and Jewellery from BCUC and MA Royal College of Art Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery.
