Description

The enameling course consists of learning how to create amazing effects on different metals with vivid enamel colour powders. This enamel is very versatile and can be used on all metals and is therefore, a very versatile medium used within todays modern jewellery making.

If you are interested in learning how to enamel your own jewellery, along with learning basic silversmithing skills then this is the course for you. The course is suitable for absolute beginners to people with some prior experience who may wish to build upon the skills they already have.

The skills you will learn during the course are how to use the enamel colours to decorate jewellery in your chosen design.  Students will also learn how to layer colours to create special effects on jewellery pieces, along with learning about the different firing techniques.

This course is very interactive and continued support is offered throughout the length of the course, whilst at the same time allowing students to work independently.

The course runs for 2.5 hours over one day, but on the odd occasion can slightly overrun to enable students to complete the piece of jewellery they are working on.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 8 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
