Eco Natural Cosmetic Making/Designing

Description

Learn how to produce a range of environmentally conscious products suitable for holidays, camping, festivals or to wow guests staying with you!. The emphasis will be on small batch production, solid items (rather than liquids which cannot be carried on planes) single use products & products with multi- functions, tailored to your skin/hair/gender. With minimal (or recyclable) to no packaging. All vegan recipes. You will learn how to make a range of products which may include: All in one hair & body soap (tailored to your hair type) Soaps for all different types of people (ages & skin types) Single use soaps & shampoos Travel & full sized items Deodorants Bite balms & salves for stings, bumps & bruises Hand & or foot creams Lip balms Massage oil (in case you get lucky!) Please wear old (non dangly) clothes, covered toe shoes (no sandals) & little or no jewellery. Please be aware that this course will use Citrol & should not be attended by those with a Citrol allergy. Level- beginner/ intermediate Refreshments are provided. Please bring your own lunch- cafe on site if you wish to purchase lunch. It is assumed that you are already capable of using scales to measure & weigh out ingredients in the same way you would for baking & that you can read/follow a recipe card. No prior experience is needed but you must have good mobility in hands & feet & be able to stand whilst working. If any of the above is not the case please contact Rachel before making a booking to discuss how we can best accommodate your needs. Terms and conditions: Our workshops are open to individuals aged eighteen and upwards. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Any further details, along with anything you need to bring with you, will be sent out via email in advance of the scheduled date. All workshops will begin promptly at the scheduled time, so please ensure that you arrive early enough to get yourself settled in and have a coffee and cake before the class is due to start.
