Drawing workshop: Ink landscapes: Saturday



Always wanted to learn how to create pen drawings? Or do you love drawing and want to learn how to use a new media?

Our pen & wash drawing workshop covers everything you need to start drawing with pen. No prior knowledge is required as you are in safe hands with our tutor, who has been teaching Art for over a decade.

You will enjoy learning and exploring essential drawing skills and techniques, helping you feel confident with your new abilities. You will cover a range of areas such as line, form, shading and creating a wash with pen.

The workshop is a two hour session and for adults only (anyone aged 18+). There will be a maximum of six people, making sure you are provided with a personal learning experience. This workshop costs £26 with no additional fees, all materials and equipment needed will be provided.

This workshop is start of a drawing workshop series that can be completed as a course or as a stand alone session. Other workshops in this series are charcoal, ink dreamscapes and portraits.

Sat: 3/07: Morning: 10am - 12pm
Wed: 7/07: Evening: 6pm - 8pm
Thu: 8/07: Afternoon: 3pm - 5pm
Fri: 9/07: Morning: 10am - 12pm

As well as a maximum of six people per workshop we have robust covid safety precautions in place. Such as mask wearing, your own materials and resources, hand washing and sanitising facilities.

This workshop will be hosted by Alexandra. She has over 11 years’ experience teaching within formal education. Alexandra has a First-class B.A. Hons degree in Fine Art and was graded as outstanding when achieving her qualified teaching training status. She was honoured to receive a Certificate of Excellence for her 2018 nomination of ‘The Award for Teacher of the Year’ UK. She has all the relevant background checks including a DBS/CRB check. Alexandra is also a practicing artist having exhibited nationally and internationally, along with her work being selected for national public Art trails. She loves to teach and inspire the future creatives!
