Creative coil pots

Coil Pot with wrapping

Join me for this 2-hour in-person session at my home in Chester.

Just six places to keep Covid-19 risks low.

These lovely pots are quite addictive to make and mesmerizing to watch them grow on your machine.

In this workshop you will make your own pot to take home.

Molly will demonstrate how to add handles and wrap the cord with fabric to add variation and colour to your pots.

The uses for the pots are too many to list here and they can be made in a variety of sizes.

There will also be a detailed worksheet of useful hints and tips to take away to remind you for when you want to make more at home. Familiarity with using a machine is useful, but the workshop is suitable for those new to sewing.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

Everything you need to make a the pot, including use of the a Brother sewing machine during the workshop.

Molly is an excellent tutor. She is attentive and patient, encouraging learners to 'have a go' and do things for themselves - so that they can learn by 'doing' - rather than stepping in and taking over. She gives very clear instructions, which make this much easier to do, and we have good fun too!...essential! x

Response from Molly Brown's Emporium:

So glad you felt you could leran at your own pace. Many thanks for your kind words and lovely review.

I hadn't used a sewing machine for 30 years (and don't own one) but Molly was an very patient teacher and gave very clear instructions at every stage. I was absolutely delighted with the coil pot I came away with; really pleased (and surprised!!) with the quality and neatness considering I'd never done anything like this before. I would definitely do the workshop again, I'd like to try to achieve a pot of a different shape.

Response from Molly Brown's Emporium:

Thank you for your lovely comments Rose. So pleased you surprised and delighted. You would be most welcome to make another pot and try a different shape.

Brilliant workshop! Molly is a patient teacher, especially important for me as I’m not great with a sewing machine. Came away from the workshop with my very own coil pot and have made more since. Highly recommend.

Response from Molly Brown's Emporium:

Glad you were pleased with what you made Zoe, and have been able to make more. Many thanks for the review, Molly

This is such an inspirational course. I came away with a lovely pot and was inspired to carry on at home. I’ve done pots as presents, pots for storage, and pots for decoration. Wonderful!

Response from Molly Brown's Emporium:

So glad you have made more at home and felt inspired. It's always lovely to hear and see what people do after a workshop. Thank you for the review.
