Come and join us in our new workshop for a fun filled day of safe candle and soap making.
Tracy has been making candles for many years and supplies to over 100 shops within the United Kingdom including household names such as Fenwicks and House of Bruar.
On the day you will make 2 candles which can be the same or totally different, we also make wax air fresheners and lots n lots of lovely wax melts, together with 2 different soaps
Our workshops give you the chance to experiment with some wonderful scents. You could make our signature two-toned Christmas candle which has Mistletoe and Wine for Christmas and then merges into a delightful Prosecco fragrance ready to rock the New Year in. Or come up with your own combination.
Making handmade gifts is a rewarding and fun skill for all abilities, whilst saving you a fortune and giving something unique and thoughtful.
You will be able to produce high quality products that are non-toxic, biodegradable and environmentally friendly. You will have the opportunity to sample a variety of fragrance oils and colours when making your candles.

If you will be redeeming a CraftCourses gift voucher on this course, the voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
All tools and materials are included in the course fee, although I would recommend that you wear either an apron to protect your clothes, or wear old clothes that you are not bothered if you splat a little wax on.
If you are not able to attend any of the advertised dates, please get in touch as alternative dates may be available including week days and weekends.
We are currently restricting our course to a maximum of 6 people, but if you do have a larger party, please get in touch as an alternative date may be available.
Courses start at 10am and finish around 3pm. These times are for guidance only as, we prefer to go at the speed of the participants in a relaxed non-rushed environment.
Afternoon Tea is supplied, please let me know at the time of booking of any special dietary requirements or even if you would like a certain type of sandwich included in your tea.
At the end of the course, a handout is given to all pupils explaining everything covered in the day so there is no need to make endless notes, the only requirement for the day is for you to relax and have fun.
We have a small shop area where you can buy some candle making supplies to take home along with some of our lovely Harris Tweed products (some of which are not in shops yet)

Had a great day today. Tracy was very knowleadgeable but was also very encouraging. The lunch was delicious and there was lots of tea and coffee opportunities. I came home with a big bag of goodies and my home now smells amazing.
Thanks again Tracy
Had a marvellous time today making soap and candles. Tracy was excellent at explaining each stage and had everything on hand as we needed them. We all left with a bag full of lovely things. The sandwiches, scones and cakes and as much tea as we could drink were also excellent.
We couldn't attend any of the dates advertised and so Tracey put on a workshop around our availability. I attended with my sister as we are thinking of starting our own business and from the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel like part of the family. Tracey is a very patient teacher who promised us that we would walk out of the workshop with products we would be happy to buy from a shop and we weren't disappointed.
I can't recommend this course enough whether you are looking to do something different just for the day or to take further and start your own business.
It is refreshing to find someone who is willing to impart their knowledge and help you avoid the pitfalls.
Thank you Tracey
Tracy has great knowledge and has helped me massively with learning how to make candles.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day, very relaxing
