About the Course
The British School of Upholstered Furniture are offering students a four day course run by Rachael South (as seen on BBC1's "Repair Shop") in any aspect of seat weaving of their choosing, which might include: chair caning, rush seating, sea-grass, close caning, paper rush and experimental materials and alternative patterns.
An exciting, interesting and informative class in which students can work on their own piece, whilst learning more about other seat weaving techniques from those around them.
Students interested in joining the class should let us know which piece they'd like to work on before the course starts, to ensure that it's a suitable project and that we have the necessary materials for you to complete it.
Our last 4 day course with Rachael sold out quickly, and we only have space for 7 students, so don't waste anytime booking your spot!
