About the Course

Join us as the Autumn leaves flutter down on a Beautiful Site - Broadleaf Woods & Meadow next to the Honddu river.

On this 1 day course you will be introduced to the skills and knowledge behind the Craft of Oak timber framing. Topics will include:
* Sourcing the raw materials
* Marking techniques
* Introduction to plumb bob scribing
* Design & construction principles
* Tools and the use of Hand & Power
* Introduction to sharpening

For lunch there are cooking facilities and we will light the Pizza oven and supply the dough and tomato sauce if you fancy bringing the extra toppings of your choice.

We have a warm Oak frame barn for shelter, tea and coffee when needed. Eco-toilets on site
