"I do a lot of crafts but had never tried working with glass before, but had a clear idea of what I hoped to achieve. Julie, with her artistry, patience and knowledliege, helped me bring my vision to fruition. Julie's studio has an amazing range of materials and she painstakingly explained the properties of each one, helping me to select what best suited my project. The course is two hours, but Julie isn't a clock watcher, at no point did I feel hurried to complete the artwork or rushed out of the door - quite the opposite. Julie is an excellent teacher and a really lovely, welcoming lady. I am thrilled with what I was able to produce and fully intend to return for another class."

" Ady's friendly and patient tuition as well as his enthusiasm in delivering the course, made for an enjoyable and rewarding time spent with him. Ady's guidance and easy to follow demonstrations of the techniques and the use of the equipment was first class and was done at your own pace. Nothing I put to him was too difficult, even the numpty questions were answered patiently and demonstrated to my level of understanding. Doing this course has enabled me to develop and improve my own framing techniques and finally been able to mount all my wife's cross stitch fabric's after years of 'earache'. Thank you Ady for a wonderful day and too Cathy for a smashing lunch. Cheers."

"We had a wonderful morning at Sarah’s studio creating our own silver bangles. Sarah is a great teacher and took us step by step through the making process. The course is very hands on, with Sarah demonstrating and then letting us loose with the tools whilst helping if required. We were both complete beginners never having done anything like this before. We are so proud of the beautiful bangles we made. Sarah’s studio has everything for making jewellery and she showed us the tools and equipment and discussed various techniques. We also saw some of Sarah’s own beautiful creations. If you like jewellery or the satisfaction of creating something yourself, I definitely recommend booking on this course."

"I took a two day course with Stuart last week and it was an amazing experience. He is a master of technique and has a real creative soul as well. We used the lathe to make several items from a burnt ash wood bowl to an apple. He is really good at guiding you through the process and yet allows you to feel ownership over the project. I highly recommend taking this course, you'll learn a lot and have a great time. Lunch was great and Freddie the dog was a friendly member of his team."

"A fabulous day. Chris was great, explaining and demonstrating every step clearly and then carefully supervising us as we followed his instructions. He was very patient and happy to answer all of my 15 yr olds questions. Really pleased with our leaf key rings. We can both highly recommend this day and Chris as a tutor. We will definitely look into doing another day with Chris. "

"What a fantastic course. I wanted to learn more about woodworking techniques as I last had experience as a schoolboy many many years ago and always wanted to try building something again under supervision. Chose to build a coffee table and wow was it successful. The enthusiastic and skilled demonstrations and mentoring from Mark and Jay across the week was brilliant and gave me the confidence to build my own table and come away with a thing of beauty (oiled and waxed oak). With only 4 of us on the course there was plenty of one to one support and lots of enlightening talks about choosing, using and caring for tools, It was a very supportive experience thanks to tutors and fellow 'students' making it a really enjoyable and fun week. If you have any interest in wood working this is the course for you. It truly is a five start course. Thanks again Mark and Jay for a great week. "

"I had a fantastic day at Lee's lino print workshop. It was exactly what I wanted. His tuition was spot on. He really knows his stuff. He was informative with clear instructions and guidance in a friendly, kind and encouraging way. The class was small which gave time for each student to have more than enough personal tuition. At the same time he allowed each of us to put into practice our own freedom of creative expression and interpretation of what we wanted to achieve. I learned so much. Such a nice guy. I am now getting some stuff to practice on my own. The old school is a great location too and you feel inspired just by being there and soaking in the creative atmosphere of what other students are doing. Book a course. You will NOT be disappointed"
