"There were two of us, joined by another lady on our lantern fused glass workshop and we all had a most wonderful day with Tracey. It was a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and Tracey was great to let us work on our pieces while keeping an eye on us so that if we got stuck, she would offer us advice to help us along. I have done many craft workshops in various subjects and think this one was probably the best in terms of enjoyment, learning, fun and value for money (the materials and kiln time do cost more than would you would think!). I would thoroughly recommend this workshop to anyone wishing to create a fantastic lantern in a great workshop located in beautiful countryside in the company of lovely people."

"Arian is a very knowledgeable instructor. We were given some initial information about the day and quickly started to forge our objects of choice. The furnaces were started rapidly. This was a very relaxing day, there was no rush and I made two objects, one hook and one poker. These showed how skillful it was to produce these objects. My sons and wife were very impressed with these objects. My sons are considering coming on the next course."

"Excellent! The whole structure of the class is fantastic. It’s like a master class with relevant input from the teacher who opens up your eyes to different art and techniques. The best [teaching] I’ve had so far, by far. Paula is so lovely, her work is incredible, the whole class was informative, engaging and thoroughly enjoyable. My sons and I had so much fun, in fact we enjoyed it so much we will be back and bringing others."

"We have just got back from enjoying learning the new skill of pyrography with Bob who is a brilliant tutor, who explained all the different techniques we needed to use on the various materials we worked on. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by Bob and his wife Del , there was plenty of tea and coffee , plus Welsh cakes at 11, then the fabulous lunch provide by Del. The day just flew by and by the end of it we were surprised and very pleased with what we had both achieved. Mick took a bowl he had turned and Bob advised him of the best way to decorate it, it’s very impressive. We would definitely recommend this course to family and friends. A day to remember, thank you Bob and Del and the antiques quiz at lunch time was good fun."

"I booked as a treat for me and my two daughters, and we were lucky enough to have the studio to ourselves. It was a great set up and easy to find. We were given croissants on arrival and a delicious light lunch, including home made bread! Matt was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We all came away having created a beautiful glass mosaic piece which we were proud of! A good fun course."
