"This course is great for beginners, Adela shares so many of her tips that she has learnt. Never done a mosaic before and thoroughly enjoyed it . I have the bug now to make more. Adela is an excellent teacher and I learnt so much . Relaxed atmosphere and coffee and cakes included. Thank you Adela for a lovely workshop, look forward to the next one"

"Had a lovely morning at Kelly's home. Learning all about candle making. There was a lot more to it than I expected. Learning all about the wax and how to scent it ,as well as how to burn a candle the right way, Never knew there was so much science behind it! Don't let that put you off , everything is explained in a very relaxed atmosphere, Very open and friendly. Plus the home baking is a bonus. Any one looking to learn candle making, This is a great place to start. Thanks Kelly for a lovely morning Marion Higgins"

We are a class of mixed abilities all working at our own pace, should a chip too far remove a vital piece Miranda is quickly at your side with reassuring words to put you back on track. With her support, always encouraging you to make the final decision, you will produce a carving to be proud of."

"Had a lovely morning at Kerry's candle making workshop. Very informative course. I was amazed how much thought and science goes into the art of candle making! Fab friendly atmosphere in Kerry's beautiful home. We had delicious scones and jam with tea which was also a delight. Can't wait for my next week. The only disappointment (in a very tongue in cheek way!) is having to wait a week before burning my delicious smelling candle! I would recommend this course to anyone and will definitely be doing so!"

"Spent the day with Bob learning the art of moving and shaping hot metal. It takes a lot more skill and thought than I ever would have guessed - a million miles from simply getting it hot and hitting it hard! Bob is a great instructor and the one-to-one tuition was fantastic. Get the Heat right, Hold it right, and Hit it right. This was a birthday gift from my incredible wife and what a brilliant gift it was. Thank you Bob (and thank you Tracy)."

"I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Yuki is very knowledgeable and creates a lovely calm atmosphere in her studio- she did a great job of matching her teaching to my ways of learning. I met my aims of understanding some basic silver techniques and using new tools, and I really feel ownership of the ring I created. In addition, Parndon Mill is a great place to visit. I thoroughly recommend."

"Nigel is an excellent instructor and a very talented gentleman! The Forge was great and the tooling that was on hand was nothing short of Amazing. There were obviously the basic tools of the trade (Anvils, Tongs, Hammer, Forges) however Nigel had Some heavy duty tooling that you just have to see to believe! The course was setup to lead you through the basic forging techniques and to show you how to progress as you become more comfortable. I am a machinist and welder by trade and have very briefly touched on blacksmithing throughout my career, however nothing that has sparked my interest like this course! I was only available to attend one day of the course, however if I could have spent a week at the forge I would happily have done so! Again, if you are even remotely interested (and by reading this review, I suspect that you are) Don't wait any longer! Get signed up and get into the ancient, magical, and mystical world of blacksmithing! You wont regret it! V/R Brian Wakelee"

"Very welcoming. Angela is very knowledgeable about jeans and is keen to share facts, tips and methods with her students. This one to one course sets you up with all the materials and skills needed to make a pair of jeans and I was thrilled, as a real beginner, to take home an actual pair of jeans which I had made using an existing pair as a pattern. I got to use machines which I had no previous experience of and Angela was very helpful in instructing. It's a quirky workshop, full of jeans and all sorts of things and I learnt so much my head is spinning! I hope I remember it all. Thank you."

"I'd give this course 6 stars if I could! Rosanna is a superb tutor and this day flew past, leaving me with tons of knowledge and new skills and a handful of leather items that look professionally made - friends were stunned to hear I'd made them that day with my own hands! I couldn't recommend Rosanna and this course highly enough. I turned up at her studio in Kent with no experience with leather at all, and have gone away with the ability to make hand-stitched items at home, and experience with sewing leather on an industrial machine too. The course covered cutting, gluing, lining, adding rivets and fastenings, tools and suppliers too, and all with good insights and great conversation. If you have any interest in leather, or just like making stuff, then give this course a go, you won't be disappointed!"
