heather eardley reviewed: HOME RETREAT:Colour therapy: Essential tools to help with your well being

"This was a great retreat to do online -especially during lockdown! A good mix of activities, meditation and reflective time. I really enjoyed cooking along with Lucy and the gardening presentation inspired me to grow a rainbow of colour . A follow up call a few days later was a great way to get to know Lucy better and to do more with colour in my home . Many thanks ?"

Lucy Renshaw responded:

"Thank you for your lovely review. New yoga session and colour for the home will be added by fri xxxxx"

Jenny reviewed: Beginner's DIY Hand Sanitiser Natural Soap Course

"What's the best thing to learn when going through a pandemic? How to make soap! Gone are the days when I spent a fortune buying natural soap. Now I make my own at a fraction of a price and I use only ingredients I want to use. I loved the course and I will be following Roxana on social media for more tips."

Marlene reviewed: Diploma in Natural Soap Making

"I've made simple soap before but I wanted to learn to learn more, and especially how to create my own natural soap formulas and how to save my soap if something goes wrong. This course gave me all the details and more! I have already made a coconut milk and shea butter soap that I am in love with. Sign up to this course, you won't regret it."

Carol Collins reviewed: Design a Room You’ll Love – with Expert Guidance Every Step of the Way

"I mentioned to Nikki that I was looking to revamp my lounge & she suggested, especially in these trying times, that I give her on line design course a go. At first I was a bit dubious as I'm not the creative type. Nikki was there every step of the way to help with some fab ideas. Soon my colour palette was established and I then began growing ideas on Pinterest. Everything was on hand from day 1, from learning materials to Zoom calls. Nikki holds a great repertoire of knowledge and experience which I put to the test during the course, only having a small area to redesign, I was limited on creativity, with Nikki's help we were able to work through problems. I was going to start the revamp in the Spring but my enthusiasm got the better of me, I have now, with help from my husband, painted the lounge, I am very pleased with the results and once we come out of lockdown I can continue to create my dream lounge, dressing it with furniture, curtains etc. I would recommend the on line course as you can work at your own pace and there is no pressure. Thank you Nikki."

Jill Stolberg reviewed: "Field with red poppies" wool painting interactive online course with live tuition.

"What a wonderful day we had! Raya patiently introduced us to this new technique, and we were each able to create a variant of Raya's model. She encouraged us to be creative and to personalise our poppy pictures. I had learned lots of strategies and look forward to creating other pictures. We had the unexpected experience of being taught by Raya from a flat in St Petersburg over the internet, and there were no connection issues - amazing. It would be nice to be able to attend her workshop in Worcestershire some day."

Magic Wool Art and Craft Studio responded:

"Dear Jill, Thank you very much for your review and your kind words! I am delighted that you enjoyed the course and you feel inspired to create more wool paintings! Thanks to the wonders of internet I was able to teach everyone from abroad! I look forward to teaching you again in the future and hopefully seeing you at my studio soon. Best wishes Raya"

Sarah W reviewed: 5 Day Professional Furniture Refinishing Workshop - Traditional & Contemporary

"I recently returned to OP Woodcraft for a five day workshop with Ollie, having completed a 2 day workshop in summer 2020. Once again it was a brilliant course and I thoroughly enjoyed the five days. I completed two pieces - a French polished sewing box and a restored contemporary chair. Ollie's instructions and guidance are clear and helpful and I came away very happy with the restored pieces. It's a good way to spend a few days working hard and a great distraction from all the current world events!"

Kate reviewed: Fair Isle knitting live video course with Create With Fibre

"Janet is a lovely tutor - encouraging and knowledgable and calm. I imagine a face-to-face course with her would be fabulous, but I think we struggled a little with the Zoom format. I think to do video courses successfully, studio-grade lighting and cameras, and a 'stage' for your demonstrations are probably needed, and as we didn't have this it was often hard to see what was being shown to us. I did learn some of what I had hoped to learn, so thank you Janet for persevering! A note to potential crafters - if you haven't done continental knitting before (holding the yarn in the left hand) you would be very well advised to learn this before attending this course as it is a technique that requires considerable practice, and is an important part of Fair Isle knitting as taught by Janet. Good luck, Janet - I know this was early days for your Zoom lessons so well done for giving it a go!"

Mandy reviewed: Family & Friends 4 x bronze hare kit using air-drying clay - including on-line video with Jo Garden Art

"My children and I received craftcourses gift vouchers for Christmas, and with continued Covid restrictions, decided to go for this kit instead of waiting for an in-person course. Every part of this package was brilliant. Postage was fast. The written and video instructions are very clear and make what seems initially a bit of a daunting task completely achievable - and fun. No additional equipment is required and everything was clearly packaged and great quality. My children (aged 11-17) really enjoyed it and we had enough spare clay, paint and gilt to create little hedgehogs (using a ball of tin foil) to go alongside our hares! Super results. Thank you Jo. Hopefully we can come to your workshop one day!"

Jo Garden Art responded:

"Thank you Mandy! What a lovely review and I'm so pleased you liked all the contents in the kit. I kept them separately packaged per person just in case the 4 hares are split between households. Loved the hedgehogs; what an ingenious way of using up spare produce - thank you for sending photos ;-) It would be lovely to see you and your family on a workshop. Once we are in a lower Covid Tier, I will be working with individual 'bubbles' rather than mixed groups. Thank you again for your review. Keep safe, kindest regards Jo ;-)"
