"This kit caught my eye when I saw it on Craft Courses, it looked so pretty and fresh colours. I received mine very quickly and it is so nicely packaged and a good deal of fabric and other embellishments too. I set great store by how things I buy are packaged up and this was really good. I since ordered another kit to go direct to a friend and like with me she received it very quickly and is delighted with it. Thank you Maire for such a lovely kit"

"Lorna was very accommodating for us to ensure we had a personal and one to one lesson. She arranged a time to suit us as the initial session was overbooked. My daughter and I had a lovely experience with Crumps Barn Studio for her birthday. Lorna made sure we had all the equipment and explained everything so patiently even when it took me ages to make the bookbinders knot! Lorna is so knowledgeable and patient showing everything so clearly on the screen. We now have two lovely notebooks which we are challenging each other to fill over the coming months with sketches and thoughts. It has definitely started something"

"This is a wonderful course! So intimate and friendly because of the smaller group. Scarlett had time to attend to our needs individually because of this. "I'm so happy I joined this workshop! It was exactly what I was looking for, as a bookbinding beginner. We received the beautiful materials beforehand, and during the workshop the instructions were really clear, and our 'teacher' (Lorna) was really patient, helpful and nice. I was a bit nervous at the beginning, but she made me feel really comfortable (which is ideal for a calm and creative activity, such as this one!). Very happy with it, I would join Crumps Barn Studio workshops again, and I definitely recommend them to others. Very suitable for book lovers, notebook /stationery lovers, crafty, creative, curious people... or for anyone who enjoys new creative challenging but calm activities."

"I took this course last year and it was a very welcome source of inspiration during a lockdown. The written instructions were clear and easy to follow, with good tips for getting over the hurdle of a blank page and filling the sketchbooks. I made several books using the different techniques taught. I was really pleased and enjoyed the course, which was excellent value."

"I did this course last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. While a video is enjoyable I really valued the written and illustrated format because you could refer back to it and go through things again if needed so it was more relaxing than a video where you have to keep up with the demonstrations. I made several of the folded sketchbooks, simple concertinas and more complex ones with ingenious folding. I also did stitched and elasticated ones so got a dozen different books as a result and am still enjoying filling them all up."

"What a wonderful lockdown treat this was. I had a lovely morning online with my daughter learning how to make a lampshade. Vanessa was a great teacher, she guided us through the various stages with patience and enthusiasm. It was relaxing and fun, and I am thrilled with my finished lampshade, which now helps to light up my kitchen beautifully. I highly recommend Vanessa's courses, you wont be disappointed!"

"I was very disappointed with this on-line course which I had assumed would be presented in video format and not written instructions as was the case. I would not have purchased the course if that fact had been disclosed from the outset. Not a lot of money tolosebutstill very disappointing."
