Laura reviewed: 'Bag in a Day' Practical Leather Course - Rucksack/ Backpack

"The build a bag course was one of the best things I have done all year. It was so cool choosing the colour combinations and using the expert machinery and tools. Georgie was warm and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. I was amazed how much we achieved in just one day. People always comment on my beautiful backpack. Next I’m going to do the make a wallet in a day course. I thoroughly recommend these unique and special courses."

Hands of Tym responded:

"Thanks Laura it was great to have you and your bag is amazing!!"

Katie reviewed: Card Collagraph Printing at Home

"Being introduced to collagraph on Scarlett’s course opened up so many more ways of mark making for me. It was so exciting to receive the materials box before the course, which was beautifully packaged. The guided videos were ideal to refer back to whilst making and experimenting, and Scarlett showed different ways of using the techniques and examples of other artists use of collagraph. I found Scarlett to be extremely knowledgeable about printmaking. Her approachable and fun style of teaching really showed it was possible to print at home with ease and to have meaningful experience online with the live video sessions, which I loved. It truly felt like being in a workshop working alongside people."

Chis reviewed: Guitar Strumstick Dulcimer 3 strings instrument

"Was a really good day, very enjoyable and ted was very knowledgeable about guitars and luthiery. Excellent learning to use tools like the band saw, table router, drills, scrapers and sanders. Ted takes you through each step and has some great tips and tricks. The instument was excellent and finished to a high standard even though it was only done in one day. Thanks to ted for a good time and will now look into making my own projects at home."

Teds Woodworking/ instrument making Courses responded:

"Well done and good luck in your future builds."

Maggie reviewed: Sculpt your own faithful dog!

"Just to say how much I’m enjoying using your kit to make a sculpt of my friend’s whippet as a surprise for her birthday. Your instructions are very clear though getting good photos of her dog without her knowing has been very challenging! I wondered if you could tell me where to buy the clay you include in the kit. I do some figurative sculpting with air drying clay but it’s more groggy and I like the finer texture of your clay, especially for smaller works. Many thanks, Maggie"

Jo Garden Art responded:

"Thank you Maggie ;-) Yes, the clay is a good quality one - I have sent an email with all the product information. Jo x"

Liz Dixon reviewed: Needle felt a blue tit (Midday on Fridays and 3pm on Saturdays)

"A very well paced and organised ZOOM workshop. The teaching was excellent and it was great to have a finished blue tit at the end of the course. The kit was nicely packaged and presented and with the addition of your own backing fabric there is enough wool to make a flock of blue tits! Looking forward to taking part in the Toadstool workshop later on this month."

Gwen’s Felted Paintings responded:

"Hello Liz. Thank you so much for your lovely review! It was such a pleasure meeting you and I look forward to seeing you again in a couple of weeks time :). Best wishes, Gwen"

Holly reviewed: Mokulito (Woodcut/Lithography) Printing at Home

"I love Scarlett's online printmaking courses. Everything sets you up for success, from the box of materials you receive at the start, the tutorial videos which are super-easy to follow, and, best of all, the online workshops where you get to take time out to focus on something creative and share work with other participants. Thoroughly recommend."

Alexander MacLellan reviewed: 'Bag in a Day' Practical Leather Course - Rucksack/ Backpack

"I did this course back in December in time to make a bag for my wife for Christmas and it was brilliant! Under Georgie's expert tutelage I was able to make something that will last my wife a lifetime, I was also able to choose different colours and types of leather. My other half is thrilled with it and at first she didn't believe me when I said I'd made it. I can't recommend this course enough. It was a lovely atmosphere to learn a new skill in as well."

Hands of Tym responded:

"Thanks Alex and I am so happy to hear she loved it!"

Amy Severino reviewed: Needle felt a blue tit (Midday on Fridays and 3pm on Saturdays)

"Gwen's online workshop was a delight. The kit came beautifully packaged, with high quality supplies. Her instruction was so easy to understand and the way she handled the class with an aerial camera along with her own face in the gallery so we could see her while she was instructing, along with the project demonstration was simply perfect. Gwen gave instructions and demonstrated very clearly and was open to questions throughout the workshop. She didn't rush anyone and was attentive by checking in on each of the participants. I highly recommend Gwen's workshops. It was a lovely way to spend a few hours, and I am so pleased with the result of my project."

Gwen’s Felted Paintings responded:

"Amy, thank you so much for such a lovely review. It was such a pleasure meeting you (and your two lovely little dogs ☺️). I am so pleased that you enjoyed it!"

Audrey Humphreys reviewed: Needle felt a blue tit (Midday on Fridays and 3pm on Saturdays)

"I really enjoyed the felting workshop and was amazed with the beautiful result that I got, a blue tit that is fit for framing and will take pride of place on my wall. Gwen was really lovely and made everyone feel at home even though it was over Zoom. The kit arrived well packaged and with high quality materials, everything you needed with lots to spare. During the workshop Gwen shared her knowledge in a way that put everyone at ease and there were lots of hints and tips as she demonstrated each stage, she is very talented and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble. I would wholeheartedly recommend her workshops."

"It was really lovely seeing you again Audrey. Thank you so much for your kind review, it’s hugely appreciated ☺️X"

"My first online workshop during lockdown. I have been looking for something to re-kindle my creativity and finally found it. Mandala drawing suits my style of intricate drawing and I am now hooked. A great workshop run by Kathryn who was very patient and explained the process very well. I am now using the follow up notes to create a Mandala, hopefully worthy of putting on display. Thanks Kathryn."

Ruth reviewed: Mandala drawing - Beginners

"This class was simple and fun - I really enjoyed it. I feel able to take what I have learned and continue with my own pieces. And the website has given me some great ideas. Kathryn was extremely accommodating in terms of when I had the class. I ended up in a class on my own as I couldn't manage the times she normally does but it was not a problem for her."

Mandala Meadow responded:

"Thanks Ruth. It was great to meet you and I so pleased you enjoyed my class (despite the inital technical glitches). And thank you for joining my Facebook group. I hope to see you again soon."

Zoe reviewed: ‘Sunset in wool painting' interactive online course with live tuition

"Dear Raya, I really enjoyed the course I did with you and since then I have tried to make a wool painting for a friend with some of the remainders and am finding the technique really relaxing. (I have attached a few pictures of the wool painting for my friend just in case you are interested) I have enjoyed it all so much and I can’t wait to do more so I just wanted to thank you again for making the course so amazing! I’ve also looked more at the pictures of your own wool paintings on your website and was just blown away by how realistic and beautiful they were - I especially loved the cat. You are so talented! Claire Harrison reviewed: Collection of pumpkins - Needle felting craft kit

"The product itself is excellent. The materials appear to be of a high quality and the instructions look clear and straightforward. I was disappointed by the delivery. The package was left on my front doorstep (extremely visible spot), no one was in the house at the time, and had been ripped open."

Feather Felts responded:

"Hi Claire, I am really disappointed to hear you had a bad experience with delivery of your kit. We have tried various delivery companies in the past and Hermes seem to deliver the best overall service (although not in your case). It is a difficult one for me to correct and I can only apologise and hope it wont put you off shopping with us again. Warm regards, Jane"

Mel reviewed: Spring wreath with gorgeous artificial flowers and nest detail.

"What fun to make your own wreath. Jennie’s instructions are easy to follow, and she’s certainly very skilled, although I think I need a bit more practice! :). I will be doing a Christmas Wreath this year too."

Jenni Wren Creative responded:

"Thank you for your lovely review. Yes practice makes perfect and the skillset that you have acquired in making the wreath can be applied to making more in the future, especially, as you mentioned, for the most popular season of all Christmas. Look out for my wreath kit and online/in person workshops available from November as I teach more ways of making and decorating wreaths. Enjoy your wreath Jenni"
