Emily reviewed: Book binding - Zoom Saturday Morning Workshop

"I had such a lovely morning on this workshop. Lorna was brilliant and patient with me, especially as due to technical issues I joined alittle late to the session, but she caught me up to the rest of the group in no time! All the instructions were clear and easy to follow and I ended up with the most beautiful little notebook. I can't wait to make some more and gift them to loved ones :) Thank you ever so much Lorna"

Susan reviewed: Beginning spinning on zoom

"If you ever wondered about learning to spin but thought the lockdown had broughtvall that to a halt. Then go ahead and do it on zoom with Cathy. She is patient and knowledgable and explains not just how but why things work (and why they sometimes don’t) and very encouraging. Iam now practising what I learnt in the session. Thank you Cathy."

Beechwood Crafts responded:

"Thank you Susan. It was lovely to meet you and help you on your spinning journey best wishes Cath"

Angela reviewed: Family & Friends 4 x bronze clay sleeping cat - including on-line video with Jo Garden Art

"I was brought the family sleeping cat sculpture kit for my birthday. We completed them in stages over 4 weekends during lockdown and thoroughly enjoyed spending time together making them. I don't think my husband or son would have considered attending a craft course but enjoyed making them at home. The instructions were clear and comprehensive but the cats are very definitely individuals. A strange lockdown birthday but a lovely reminder of spending time together as a family. An excellent craft course and would highly recommend it."

Jo Garden Art responded:

"Thank you Angela! You made my day when your review and the photo you sent came through on my email ;-) As you said, despite the same materials and instructions everyone made completely different cats (and little mice with the left over clay!). So glad you had some special time together as a family. Jo x"

Victoria reviewed: Felted pebbles or stacking stones with Purr & Wag It

"Heather sent all the materials needed in plenty of time and clearly labelled. She had the online tutorial set up really well, so that we could watch her hands working as well as see her face as she talked us through. We got several pebbles made during the workshop, with lots of material left over to try more at home. She was patient and inclusive and I thoroughly enjoyed learning from her. Thank you."

Purr & Wag It, Tabletop Workshops: wet felting responded:

"Thank you Victoria! Inclusivity is a big reason for me keeping my workshops, whether in person or live on line, small. Looking forward to the opportunity of working with you again. Best wishes Heather"
