Isabelle reviewed: Stonecarving Weekend, Gloucestershire Cotswolds

"We had a fantastic weekend stone carving in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside. I had no experience to speak of and was impressed by the end result. Sebastian was lovely and patient with us, always there to guide us in the right direction if needed. I didn't know stone carving could be so relaxing and at the same time satisfying. Highly recommended!"

Marion Cole reviewed: Introduction to Ecoprinting

"This was a fabulous introductory day to ecoprinting. Fiona was excellent combining the right amount of providing the information we needed to know with practical printing on paper and fabric and we all came away with some lovely projects made during the day. I can’t quite believe how she managed to pack so much in. I thoroughly enjoyed the session and will be looking out for more sessions in the spring when they start again."

Liz Rashvand reviewed: Basket making for beginners using traditional willow basketry techniques

"I really wanted to 'have a go' at making a willow basket and this day was perfect! I can't believe I made such a lovely basket as I had never attempted anything like this before. I really love my basket, especially the 'feel' of the willow and the gorgeous colours. Jon and Becky were such easy company, and so expert they made everything seem straightforward. I was worried I wouldn't be able to follow the instruction but Jon and Becky were simply wonderful! Becky's cake and flapjack were a real treat too, thank you Becky! Beautiful location, and a terrific day! Thank you both so much :)"

"That's lovely to hear Liz. We are so glad you enjoyed your day, brilliant news! It was wonderful to spend the day weaving with you, your daughter and the rest of the group. Thank you for coming."

"I REALLY enjoyed this class, which takes place in Dawn's spacious and airy studio, full of materials and threads. Just being in the studio makes you feel creative! Dawn gave a demonstration of free hand machine embroidery, which was clear and easy to follow and then we worked on our own pieces, with Dawn always at hand to advise and encourage. I came away feeling so inspired that I have already booked another workshop. Dawn is very skillful, knowledgeable and generous. Brilliant value for money and an excellent way to spend a Sunday."

Victoria Smith reviewed: Painting portraits in watercolour

"Always a thoroughly enjoyable day painting with Liz Chaderton. She is extremely knowledgeable, accomplished in her field and teaches very well with much explanation of the process involved. There are plenty of examples of her work that help clarify the topic and there is an overhead camera that helps everyone see clearly the demonstrations. It is always a lovely group of like-minded people and Liz puts everyone at ease. The venue is excellent too ... light, airy with beautiful gardens to relax and take a break. All materials and provided and plenty of material to inspire!"

Catriona Havard reviewed: Ecoprinting - beyond the basics. Ecoprint with natural dyes.

"I loved the course. Fiona gets the right mixture between teaching the theory different chemical elements of eco printing and being able to actually get hands on experience. Its the second course of Fiona's I have been on and I would go to more of her workshops so I totally recommend if you are interested in eco printing."
