"I had a fantastic day with Jo and the rest of the group at the swannery. She explained everything really well and we had a lot of laughs along the way. I actually managed to create a deer that looked like one. Everyone's deer was individual and they all looked amazing. The setting was brilliant and to see them all together at the end of the day was fab. I wouldn't hesitate to go to one of Jo's courses again. Absolutely brilliant."

At the end of the day we came away with not only some lovely prints, but also also the skills to continue this hobby at home. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interesting in lino printing. "

"A brilliant course. Kevin was a great tutor - friendly, clear, supportive and let the attendees gain skills. The resulting coracle is a thing of such delight, surprisingly strong, and surprisingly large. You might need to strap it to the roof of your car unless you drive a van! The location was great, interesting, dry, well run, with great home made soup and bread and loads of tea and coffee. A great couple of days, highly recommended."

"We attended the course as a family (all adults) and everyone found it thoroughly enjoyable and engrossing. We were taught about tools and how to use them as well as woods and ways to treat/carve them. There were certainly challenges as there were 4 of us and there is a lot to learn, but Nick was a rigorous and attentive teacher (as well as very sociable) and it is to his credit that we all came away with a sense of achievement as well as bowls and spoons we were pleased with. It was an excellent weekend and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new and immersive."

"This was an excellent course. With only one other participant we had loads of individual guidance and a chance to practice different techniques. I have had a pyrography tool for years but now have the knowledge to use it! Also a selection of pieces to take home, including a splendid cheeseboard. With a magnificent lunch provided by Del this is a day I would highly recommend. Thank you both. "

"A very friendly, relaxed and enjoyable day - very much hands on with plenty of help from Loucinda when needed. I learnt a great deal and came away with a beautiful bird bath / garden decoration which looks way more ‘professional’ than I ever thought I could manage. The location is perfect with views over the fields to inspire and plenty of tea to help us through the day 😊 Loucinda took the time to show us the various options we could try at each stage which allowed us to make decisions as we went along. A thoroughly enjoyable way to spend the day."

We felt like she was with us every step of the way, and offered loads of insight to methods and techniques that would otherwise be completely beyond us. Would highly recommend a class with Sarah, the baked goods alone are to die for! The pendants we made will always be a special reminder of the hard work we put in and the lovely afternoon we had."
