Mark Wakelin-Gilden reviewed: Hessian flower workshop

"I’ve done this course twice now, with my daughters. We came away with a vast selection of the most excellent hessian flowers. Annabelle is a fantastic tutor. I highly recommend this course."

Hessian Creations responded:

"Hi Mark Thank you so much for your review. It was such a compliment that you booked again for my second workshop and it was so lovely meeting your family too. The feedback that I received from my first workshop was overwhelming and has continued. Participants have all said that they find it very therapeutic, and a lot of fun and a great way to unwind. Look forward to seeing you and your family again one day in a future workshop. Best wishes Annabelle"

Rob Baker reviewed: Premium experience package dry stone walling for beginners

"This was an excellent course. Carl patiently and professionally explained and demonstrated the various techniques of taking down a section of wall that was in disrepair, grading the stone, preparing the footings, selecting the stone and assembling a wall that will last a couple of hundred years. I found the whole experience fascinating. A 3D puzzle that was solved as a team. Sharon provided superb support making sure we were fed and watered. The food was excellent."

Cheryl Holdsworth reviewed: Handmade canes, beads and jewellery from Polymer clay in Bedfordshire.

"I cannot recommend this course enough. Bernadette is a fabulous tutor, she is very patient and has great knowledge and talent. Bernadette guides you to create unique and professional look jewellery in the colours of your choice. I feel truly inspired following my day with Bernadette. Her work is stunning, the pieces she had on display were beautiful. I cannot wait to create more pieces. Thank you for being such an inspiration and for helping me to create something that I feel very proud of. Truly wonderful."

Treasunique responded:

"Bless you Cheryl, it was a delight to have you over for the workshop, and really once you had the 'canes' prepared your work just 'took off'!! You created a stunning piece of work which I am sure will be worn with great pride and joy by your cousin. Well done for letting your creativity expand. I look forward to hearing what she thinks of it! Thanks for the lovely response."

Julie Drew reviewed: Hessian Floristry workshop

"A fabulous course for all levels of ability - Annabelle made us all feel most welcome and taught us a variety of skills in making a range of rustic hessian flowers in the morning session. Her gentle encouragement gave us all the confidence to develop and explore these skills in the afternoon, so we all left with a beautiful bouquet at the end of the day and lots of inspiration to continue making flowers in the future - Thank you Annabelle!"

Hessian Creations responded:

"Hi Julie Thank you so much for your review it is really appreciated. I am so pleased you enjoyed your day with me and I so enjoyed your company too. A fun relaxing day had by all."

Nicky Harris reviewed: Blacksmithing Introduction courses in Yorkshire and the North East

"I have just arrived home from the most wonderful blacksmithing experience proudly clutching two items I managed to make all by myself! Adrian, Andy and Debbie were so welcoming and ensured everyone had a day to remember. The day was so well planned and the blacksmithing work was challenging for 'first timers' which gave a great sense of achievement when successfully finished. We were well fed and enjoyed great company throughout the day. Recommend this craft course highly - marvellous way to spend a day. Nicky Harris October 2019"

"I loved this workshop, very hands on and well explained by two knowledgable instructors. "Thank you for organising this course Kerry & Lou, and Maor for teaching these new techniques. I've really enjoyed getting enthusiastic again about creating and in such a supportive and friendly environment. The Lygon Arms was a brilliant venue and they were really helpful when asking "please can I put my mouse (modelling clay!) in your freezer?" Lunch was very tasty. Thank you for sending out material lists and for answering all questions. Lou and Kerry, your skills and expertise as well as access to materials was also SO helpful. A very big thank you. Until next time!xx"

Melissa Phillips reviewed: Feather flower workshop with Ian Bennett

"I found this workshop to be a different way of working as I am used to working with traditional millinery techniques. I learnt lots of new techniques due to the artists style of workshop. The tutor was friendly and made the workshop feel relaxed and informal. We learnt a lot from each other as everyone in the group was shown techniques to suit their individual pieces. The venue is easy to get to and the workspace is comfortable and spacious within a lovely setting. The staff are welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The gift bags in our places on arrival were a lovely touch. Thank you for hosting a great course - I have really enjoyed it."
