Josie reviewed: Introduction to Lino Printing in Cambridgeshire

"A super workshop day. Judith made everyone feel completely at ease, and showed us a plethora of different styles and examples to guide us. She was clear and helped all of us individually at our own pace. I learned a huge amount and have already invested in some kit to have a go at home on my own. I was delighted with my end product and felt like I learned a lot."

Roz Donnelly reviewed: Lino Printing on Fabric Day with Oxford Linocut Workshops - Fabric Printing

"A beautiful setting for an excellent day's crafting! Claire had planned everything splendidly so each participant had all the tools/craft supplies needed to complete the workshop. There was a warm welcome for everyone and we all felt very comfortable - even though I am not artistic, I didn't feel awkward and really enjoyed trying to master the techniques so sensibly explained and demonstrated. My partner is much more artistic than I am and had done lino cutting in the past but enjoyed the day getting back into this craft. Claire managed to pitch things so that anyone from the complete novice like me to those with far more skill would all find the day useful and enjoyable. We would recommend Claire and her workshops highly."

"My ten year old son, Noah, and I have just had the pleasure of attending this two day stone carving course with Sebastian. We both had the most wonderful time learning new skills & being creative. We were both delighted with our finished pieces and can't wait to experiment more at home."

Morris reviewed: Woodturning in Devon with Colin Simpson

".As Colin's web page indicates, he is prepared to tailor the tuition to your wishes. I sent him details of that which I wanted to cover and he did so in a clear and structured manner. He was patient and tolerant of my (many) mistakes and I really learned a great deal. His workshop is well fitted but there is plenty of room to observe his demonstrations and to work at the lathes. I highly recommend the training given by Colin – thank you. Also, lunch was very nice!"

Devon Wood Crafts responded:

"Thanks, Morris and if I can help in the future, please get back in touch. Please also let me know if the day just "scratched an itch" that you had or whether you intend to take woodturning further. Regards, Colin"
