About the Course

If you fancy a couple of days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then why not come along to a sewing retreat. We will spend two days making and handsewing a variety of felt, fabric, lace and ribbon flowers and create a stunning wreath for you to treasure. The retreat venue is the beautiful Old Walls Vineyard, located in the village of Bishopsteignton in South Devon. We will spend two relaxing days sewing, eating, drinking and chatting.

During the two days we will be learning how to make and handsew a variety of fabric and felt flowers and create a stunning wreath. With numbers limited to 12 people there will be plenty of 1-to-1 instruction, so no previous sewing experience is required, making the retreat perfect for both sewing beginners and those who have experience that want to try something new.

Accommodation:

There are six self contained lodges nestled at the bottom of the fully operational vineyard looking up to the vines on the south facing slopes above. Each lodge has an equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area, bathroom, double room and twin room.

Food:

All our meals will be prepared and served in the Old Walls Vineyard Restaurant. Specific dietary requirements can be catered for, please let me know when booking if you have any dietary requirements.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
