Rural Life machine embroidery

Description

A fun design, full of detail. Hand painted and printed silks and cotton make up these quirky little houses full of fun free motion machine embroidery. My classes are suitable for everyone, including beginners. You need a basic sewing machine with a free motion foot and embroidery thread. Join me for a day of relaxed sewing and learning. I am an experienced teacher who will provide excellent quality kits and guidance. I ensure you can go home with a finished piece.

"Back again! This time to make a toile. I am making a jacket which I have put off for years after having some doubts about my abilities. Here was the opportunity to really learn a few new things. However, a great deal of time and patience was required of the tutor. I certainly got that in spades. Anyway, I've been guided along and now feel yes, I think this is actually going to work out. I will definitely be back if only to get help with the pockets!"

Working alone has its difficulties when worried about the actual pattern, what sort of interfacing is needed, where to alter the darts, will this material suit the pattern, body shape etc. These queries can be answered here as you go along, so you can correct, alter and complete without throwing the garment in the corner! Plus, lets face it, its nice to have confirmation of 'so I was right then?' Wow! I have booked another course. "
