Description

Roman blinds are a great way of dressing a window, giving a simple uncluttered look. This course will cover all the techniques and stitches required to make a lined and interlined Roman blind by hand, in order to produce a professional finish. Students will make a sample Roman blind approximately a metre square. This course is suitable for all abilities, however students should be able to use a basic sewing machine. You will need to bring your own sewing machine. Tutor Information Jenny Harrison has a City and Guilds in Soft Furnishings, 7900 Certificate in Education. She has written articles for Sewing World magazine in the past and has taught City and Guilds for Somerset College of Art in soft furnishings for 10 years. Jenny now has her own private sewing classes in Taunton.
